Hello beautiful weather. I know you’re not quite here yet, so that was more of a calling. Today I decided it was time to feel warmth again. If I can’t have it outside my house, then I will have it on my blog. I took these photos of the Smallman family last fall at South Park. Going on-location is helping me learn my way around “extended” Pittsburgh and the inner workings of the local, state and national parks in this corner of PA. I love parks of any type. I live a couple blocks from Frick Park for a reason. When I was younger I wanted to be a Park Ranger. Not a lie. I guess I was just born to be in a park doing something. Whatever the case, I will be recommending South Park in the future for all you “southern” clients. It is beautiful!
I also enjoy it when family photos include grandparents…being a sentimental person who strives to savor real moments and freeze time (that really never works). Kelley is a wedding and portrait photographer as well (which made me a wee bit nervous) but I think we were on the same page . So our goal was accomplished and after you see the photos, you’ll understand why I really enjoyed my time with her family!
